1961 - My brother Bob (ex-K7MDS), left, and I operate our first store bought station in Oakridge, Oregon.

The first antenna. Oakridge, Oregon in 1961. The 10 meter dipole was made of wire and a 2x2 piece of wood. Here I am operating Field Day in 1961, using the Eico/HQ-129x set up. Fortunately we didn't have any rain!
